9/14/08 - Summer is winding down and as always there’s a lot going on at Ink Assassins. We’ve got all new tattoo portfolios up from all of our artists. Besides the talented likes of Metal Mike, Jake Miller, and Thorns there are a few names that you might notice that are new to our crew here. Over the years we’ve worked hard to bring into our shop guest tattoo artists from all over the country to leave their mark on Erie. Well it turns out that a few of them loved Erie so much that they’re back full time. These hard working guys are putting out some amazing looking tattoos that are nothing short of world class. So please stop on by and give a warm “Welcome back to Erie” to Dillon Hild, Justin Jarrell, & Suga Bear. Check out their tattoo work, you won’t be disappointed.

On August 2nd the staff here at Ink Assassins partook in the “Tattooing to Save Babies” organized by Black Anchor Tattoo in Denton, MD. All proceeds from that day were donated to the March of Dimes. So a huge thank you to all of our kind clients who came in that day and helped out. Between all of the tattoo shops involved over $10,000 was raised.

In piercing aftercare news Ink Assassins is now carrying H2Ocean. H2Ocean Piercing Spray helps to cleanse all your piercings and body modifications. H2Ocean helps to safely remove dried discharge and lymph secretions when used every 3-4 hours on your piercings and body modifications. You can pick up a 4oz. bottle at Ink Assassins for almost half of what other area stores.

5/22/08 - Coming up really soon on Friday, May 30th is a really great Charity Art Show / Auction @ the Brewerie in downtown Erie, PA. It will feature a silent auction of various mediums of art including paintings, photography, and even tattoo time. Many talented local and national artists will be featured. All proceeds will be donated to Safenet Domestic Violence Safety Network here in Erie (www.safeneterie.org). Much props to Eerie Eric, Metal Mike, and Jake Miller for dedicating their time and energy to a really good cause. 3/11/08 - Ink Assassins is excited to announce a new addition to our fold here. After a long & hard apprenticeship we are proud to announce our new member to IA's piercing crew (drum roll please)... ladies and gentlemen, we give you KRISTY! Do you know what that means? We will have piercing 7 days a week at all times of the day now!!! We are extremely excited about that! So come on by and have Kristy poke a hole in your skin.

GUEST ARTISTS COMING INTO ERIE!
We have a whole freaking parade of guest artists coming through Ink Assassins starting this month. We urge everyone to seize the opportunity to get work from these talented out of town artists. In December alone we have 3 friends stopping by and doing their thing. If you like what you see we recommend stopping by the studio and scheduling an appointment. Don't sleep on these opportunities! We have a bunch more artists already lined up for 2008.

Remember the Star 104 Tattoo Makeover contest that we ran at the end of summer? Well here's a before and after picture of Sherri who won a free tattoo makeover. Chris Wilson aka Pisstoff Christoff performed this redo of her 9 year old tattoo. Check out the results!
In other exciting news we have brand new shirts in stock and feature artwork from Ink Assassins own Jake A. Miller aka JAM. They feature red ink on a really cool Army Green t-shirt and have printing on both sides. You can order them through our website MERCH section or just stop on in the shop and pick one up. They would make a really cool Christmas gift for someone! Prices are $15 for a shirt and we are carrying Small, Med, Large, XL, & XXL.

 

8/15/07 - We’re very excited to announce that Ink Assassins was voted by the readers of the Erie Times-News as Erie's Choice for best Tattoo Parlor in 2007! Thanx everyone!
